Mr. Leon The New leprechaun

The mere mention of St. Patrick’s Day usually brings a smile to one’s face and an uncanny desire to find leprechauns. A day normally associated with sunshine and four leaf clovers was met this year with rain and high volume winds.  The detrimental weather however, did not deter Las Vegans from attending the “46th Annual Southern Nevada Sons of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival!”

The parade, which took place down Water Street in Henderson, drew an impressive crowd among whom several businesses and entertainers had promotional floats.

Parade participant Pete Orlando said, “Of all the festivals I’ve been to this one was by far my favorite. Mr. Leon on the Findlay Toyota float really brought it this year, adding tremendously to the already exciting festivities!”  Mr. Leon and the S.I.N.G. kids were out in full force, in spite of the weather, singing and having a great time with the crowds so much so, that the people started to follow behind their float.  This was so entertaining and a wonderful way to share Leon S.I.N.G. Children’s Foundation with the community!
